C1 provides identity governance for Render. Integrate your Render workspace with C1 for unified visibility and governance over user access.

Users
The connector reads one Render workspace — the workspace identified by the owner ID you configure. It syncs that workspace and its members. Each member is granted membership of the workspace plus the workspace role they hold (Admin, Developer, Workspace Contributor, Workspace Billing, or Workspace Viewer). A member’s profile carries their role and whether multi-factor authentication is enabled. Members in good standing sync as enabled users; deactivated members sync as disabled, which is useful for offboarding review.

Gather Render credentials

To read the full member roster, the API key must belong to an administrator of the workspace you are syncing. A non-admin key sees only a partial roster.
1
Sign in to Render as an administrator of the workspace you want to sync.
2
Open Account Settings and create a new API key. Copy the key value — it begins with rnd_.
3
Note the workspace’s owner ID. This is the identifier Render uses for the workspace (a team owner ID).

Configure the Render connector

Follow these instructions to use a built-in, no-code connector hosted by C1.
1
In C1, navigate to Integrations > Connectors and click Add connector.
2
Search for Render and click Add.
3

  • Render API key: the API key you created, belonging to an administrator of the workspace.
  • Workspace (owner) ID: the owner ID of the workspace you want to sync.
8
Click Save.
9
The connector’s label changes to Syncing, followed by Connected. You can view the logs to ensure that information is syncing.
Done. Your Render connector is now pulling access data into C1.
